RING
John, 82, of Lakewood, formerly of Rochelle Park, passed away on Friday, August 29th, 2014. Before retiring, John worked for Local 560 as a Teamster. He was a member of the Screen Actors Guild and American Legion Post #170, Rochelle Park, NJ.
Beloved husband of Margaret (Dolly) Ring (nee Maloney). Cherished father of Catherine Ring and husband Stephen York, James Ring and partner Dorothy Hartley, Patricia Weiss and husband Jan, Maureen Spezial and husband Scott, Timothy Ring and wife Andrea, and the late Allison Mallery (1991). Adored grandfather of Sean, Meghan, Matthew, Julia, Michael, Lexi, John, Sara, T.J., Marissa, Ryan, and Lamont.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 5 - 8 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. On Wednesday at 10 AM, a final memorial service will also be held at Vander Plaat Memorial Home. Private cremation.
John's final resting place will be on his beloved Nora's Hill, Ballymacarbry, Co. Waterford, Ireland. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in John's memory may be made to the John Ring Scholarship for the Arts, checks made out to Camden National Bank, PO Box 65, Stonington, ME 04681.

John, You were such a great guy. Our three children still remember when they visited you and Dolly over 20 years ago, how you made them laugh especially when you made-believe you were playing the piano with your toes. We did not see you often enough, but enjoyed every minute we did spend with you and Dolly. Love Mary (your cousin) and Billy.
