John Schouten Obituary
John C., 90, of Midland Park on March 29, 2013.
Born in Paterson, John resided most recently in Wayne. He was raised in Clifton and had lived in Hawthorne then Wayne. He was a member of Hawthorne Gospel Church and Grace Bible Church. Before retiring John was a handyman with the Hawthorne Board of Education.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Lois Schouten in 2012, and a loving son David Schouten in 2010. Survivors include his loving children, Maryann Schwinge and husband Robert and John M. Schouten and wife Monica. There are ten adoring grandchildren and two cherished great grandchildren surviving.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11 AM at Browning Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne, NJ. Interment will follow at Fair Lawn Cemetery. Visiting Monday 10-11 AM. (One hour prior to the service) Donations in John's memory to Hawthorne Gospel Church, 2000 Route 208 Hawthorne, NJ 07506 or Grace Bible Church, 369 High Mountain Rd. N. Haledon, NJ 07508.
