Joseph Booth Obituary

BOOTH
Joseph William Jr., 87, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2016 at Freedom Village in Bradenton, Fl. He was born in West New York, New Jersey on August 26, 1928 to Joseph and Ann Booth. He and loving wife, Angela Mary, "Marion", "Mia", moved to Longwood & Vero Beach Florida in 1982 from Norwood, New Jersey. He was preceded in death by Marion, in 1996 and brother Charles in 2013.
He was the proud father of and is survived by Michael J Booth (wife Marge Booth), Brenda Schneider (husband Tom Schneider), Joseph W. Booth (partner Betty Lee), Candice Tate (husband Ken Tate), C. Stuart Booth, Sharon Huth (husband Steve Huth) & Kristin Lentz (husband Brian Lentz). Also, Grandfather to Brian Booth (wife Kate), Kristin Oakes (husband Garrett Oakes, Caitlin Schneider (husband Francesco Calabrese), Stephen Laughlin (wife Tiffany), Michael Booth, Rebecca Booth, Thomas Huth, Colin Lentz and Kyle Lentz. He was Great grandfather to Ashton Booth, Ellie Booth, Brennan Oakes, Falyn Laughlin, and McKenna Madison.
Joe was a talented ball player, attending St. John's & Bucknell University's. He served in the U.S Army during the Korean War. Joe was a sales manager at Nestles for over 30 years. In Vero Beach, Joe was an active golfer & volunteered as Usher for Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Community Service Meals on Wheels Program and worked part time for Vista Royale Properties in Vero Beach.
Joe was most recently a resident of Freedom Village in Bradenton, Fl., where he was admired for his friendly and outgoing manner, while enjoying many friends and activities.
Funeral arrangements, with Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel, Memorial service and graveside military honors, are entrusted to Oaklawn Cemetery, Sanford, Florida, on May 28 at 2:30 PM.
