Joseph Kunyz Obituary
Mr. Kunyz, 85, died Feb. 9 at Overlook Medical Center, Summit.
Born in Millburn, he lived in Springfield for more than 45 years. After his schooling, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in World War II. He worked at Carpenter Technology in Union for many years. He retired in 1986.
Mr. Kunyz is survived by a son, Joseph J. Jr.; a daughter, Carol; three sisters, Helen Rush, Elizabeth Hummer and Anna; two brothers, Edward and Peter; and four grandchildren.
