My thoughts and prayers are with Diane and the entire Pagnotta family. As one of Diane's friends at Ithaca College, I will always remember the special bond that Diane had with her father. Diane's face would light up when her parents came to visit or when she talked about her dad. Mr. Pagnotta's love of family and kindness were obvious in all he did. May your memories of the special times you shared keep your dad with you always. My love and prayers are with you Diane at this difficult time.

Our thoughts, prayers and love are with all of you. Your dad had the sweetest smile and his face would light up when he was around his family, especially James and Nadine- he was so very proud of them and loved you all so much. I know how much he loved being a part of their lives and always was there to help out. He was a wonderful father who loved his family with his whole heart. Smart, kind, compassionate and always willing to give of himself. May the lifetime of happy memories bring you comfort .

Thoughts and prayers to the family of Mr. Pagnotta on his passing. They lost a great man, and Brooklyn lost another grand connection to its wonderful past. I met Mr P through his son Joe, and shared a commonality: Brooklyn boys of disparate ages who enjoyed talking about the old neighborhood. I am glad he got to see his beloved baseball Giants win two World Series in the last few years and only wished his had lived to see his "Les Habitants" of Montreal win another Stanley Cup. Rest in peace, Mr P, you will be greatly missed.

Our son James became his Son-in Law when he married his daughter Diane. Jim always said that "Joe" was one of the most intellegent people he had ever met. We found him to be a kind and loving father and grandfather .He was truly a Gentleman in every sense of the word. He will be missed

Kind, funny patient, compassionate and dedicated to his family....
I remember Mr. Pagnotta so fondly as we spent many humor-filled times together when he visited his daughter, my college roommate, Diane. He was a brilliant man who was an amazing Dad and Grandfather. He will be missed but has left an incredible footprint in the hearts of many. It has been an honor to share many fond memories with you.
