Joseph Valenti Obituary

VALENTI
Joseph E., 93, a resident of Tenafly since 1948, died on November 19, 2016.
Joe had a lifelong love of aviation and was a graduate of Parks Air College. He loved to tell stories of flights and talking shop with Howard Hughes. He served in the Army during WWII before settling into a career in commercial real estate.
Joe was the devoted son of Antonio and Lena, who predeceased him, as did his brother Peter and his brother-in-law, Jack Van Horne. He is survived by his sisters, Sara Van Horne and her children, Ellen, Jack and Beth; Mary Robinsky (Norman) and their children Donna, Scott, Kurt and Tammy.
He loved his family above all else and urged all of his grand nieces and nephews to pursue college and advanced degrees. He remembered all birthdays with a funny card and a check. A kid at heart, Joe's sense of humor, playfulness and generosity will be missed.

Aunt Mary and Aunt Sara,
So sorry for your loss. I remember Uncle Joe always giving us candy and wearing a bow tie. And with a great smile!
Prayer to both your families, Debra Robinsky
