Josephine Waagner Obituary
Josephine (nee Berns), age 94, passed away at her residence at Hawthorne Village in Ocala, Florida on January 23, 2014. Born at home on May 10, 1919 and raised in Wood-Ridge, New Jersey, she was an active member of the Evening Division Women's Club and the First Presbyterian Church. She and her husband, Louis L. Waagner, Sr., retired to Ocala, Florida in 1986. She loved her family, gardening, playing bingo and reading and had a great sense of humor. She is survived by her sons, Louis, Jr. (Sharon) and William (Susan), four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and two nieces. In her memory, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Wood-Ridge, NJ. There were no services at her request. Josephine will be laid to rest with her husband in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
