Googling way old teachers I came upon this sad news of your passing. You were Mrs. Keller back then and even though my grades were horrible you were still one of my favorite teachers. Thank you for your work and kindness. Rest in peace Laura. May your family be comforted knowing that you touch so many lives in your short time. And you were not forgotten.

Doug and I and our whole family were so sorry to hear about Laura. She was a cheerful, loving person, and would always light up a room she entered. Doug and Laura were first cousins, and had many memories together.

I met Laura in 1980 at the G.W. school in Ridgewood where I enjoyed her optimism, love for history, respect for students, and knew her as a caring person. We taught together at Ridgewood High School for several years and Laura's students were fortunate to have a caring teacher who enjoyed historical research and teaching. After I left Ridgewood for a position at Ramapo Indian Hills, we continued to stay connected through conferences and professional development programs. My deepest sympathies and prayers for comfort are with you. Laura had a deep faith and was filled with God's love in the way she loved her family and friends. Such a sad loss and yet such a gifted blessing to be part of Laura's professional life.
