Linda and family
My sincere and heartfelt condolences.
I remember fondly Lauren's bright spirit and friendship from days at Camp Scatico and more recently-although several years ago, her friendly, warm and welcoming overture when an old camp friend stopped into Casa Morada to say hello-
may she rest in peace and remain alive in your fond memories-

Lauren was among the first people to welcome me to S.Florida, she made me feel at home and injected positive energy and fun with her warm embrace, kindness, vivid personality and humour. Is hard to know that I won't see her again. Rest in peace.

Lauren was my friend
I met Lauren when I used her hotel Casa Morada as a location for a photo shoot
We became friends after that and I'll always have memories of staying at her place in Miami, hanging out with Lisa and Barbie and horseback riding in Southwest Ranches
When I think of Lauren it will always be her smile and her funny sense of humor
Her passing is way too soon for someone so full of life and so young
Love and strength to all of her family and friends

To the Abrams family,
I was deeply saddened like everyone to know of the passing of our beautiful Lauren. I first met Lauren in London in 1990 while on a marketing trip to promote the Royalton Hotel in New York. Having been invited to her event, I quickly formed a bond with Lauren and as I was on my way to New York a month later for the first time and with no hotel booked...Lauren insisted I stay at the Royalton. Not only did she upgrade my room, but she also convinced me to extend my stay in New York. A hotel stay that should have cost me at least $1,300 ended up costing $85...for laundry! My friendship would continue and to then meeting her wonderful twin Linda and eventually her parents.
Life is very precious, and all too short, but even in such difficult circumstances we must always cherish her wonderful life and that her calling finally came. She clearly is in a better place and will continue to shine on us, as we all continue on our journey called 'life'.
Much love to you all and will continue to send my prayers and thoughts your way.
Mo xx

Lauren Abrams... wow! I am sad that I never stopped to tell you how often I think of you. You taught me how to behave in restaurants! That is how green I was when we met almost 25 years ago! LOL I promise, every time I order appetizers for myself and then pick off of other people's plates, I giggle a little bit! I also loved that you knew I was young and inexperienced but never treated me that way. I also love that EVERY TIME I saw your face, you were smiling. Thank you for so many warm memories, my friend. Rest Well!
To those of you who had the privilege of so much more time with her, you have my most sincere condolences

Lauren was one of the first hoteliers I met in NYC and had the pleasure of sharing her company in Isla Morada. We also shared birth dates. What a beautiful, fun loving soul.
