Dad - you were the finest there was in a Man because when they built you they built them strong. You taught me pretty much everything I know and I will do my best to teach my boys to be the man you taught me to be. I will cherish those moments until I'm with you in heaven . Then you can teach me all over again. I think about you every day and I look at the phone waiting for you to call me to ask me if I'm working or how the truck is running ... Funny our conversations were always the same every time we spoke but I would give anything to hear your voice right now . Dad until we are together again I will always love and cherish the times we had Love, Allan and Never say goodbye ~always say so long

Hi Poppa Merry Christmas.I really miss you.mom said to write but i wish i could just call. its not the same.I miss talking to you. you were always my friend even when i was in trouble which is alot and you know it. you always stuck up for me. sometimes you were the only one who did. I got your message and i will keep it 4ever. the bus driver hates me. she is so mean and that cursing i did i was really mad thats why i did it cause david always takes my playstation remote and loses it and it was on my desk but mom made me feel real bad when she said you would be mad so im sorry ok? david almost had to go home and dad was WAY mad. i told mom that even though we miss you we arenot supposed to be selfish because this year we are supposed to be happy for you because you get to spend christmas in heaven with your mom and dad . remember you told me all about those christmas times you missed. you said grandma dora would be happy to have me because i could keep her busy cooking. i know thats why you had to leave early because you had to get ready for christmas right oliver threw up i think he misses you. Mom said he is the worst dog ever but i know she loves him because she kisses him all the time even when he runs away and doesnt listem. dad says she should smack him once and he will listen but she wont cause she feels bad for him cause she says he is simple and cant help it he just wants to meet new friends i love you poppa please if you can make sure i dont get in trouble try ok. christmas is close and i had detention already for talking so thats not good i love you Jack

How do I put a life into words? There are not enough of them to say what you have meant to me and how much I loved you. Your warm heart, your love of life and family, your beautiful smile, your SIMPLE but PERFECT ways. 30 years I spent loving you and it wasn't long enough, but I know that no matter how hard death tries to bring you to your knees, it can never win over love, because love lives on. In the charm of your sons, in the goodness of your daughters, in the light of eyes of your grandchildren, in the hearts of all of us that stayed behind ~ every memory, every talk, every hug, every kiss ~ you are with us all ... so I wont say Goodbye to you my Double L because my heart would simply never allow it... I will just say So Long until we meet again. Love, Le-Ann
