Lillian Coogan Obituary
New Milford - Lillian Patricia (Pat) Coogan (nee O'Neill), 95, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2021 surrounded by her family after a full and happy life. She is predeceased by her husband Bill and son Brian Patrick. Mother to Bill (Kim), Patti (Tom), Kathi (Jay), Tim (Kathy), Bob (Donna), and daughter-in-law Karen. Adored grandmother (Ma) to Kevin (Melissa), Justine, Jamie (Gregg), Kerri (Brad), Jesse (Savannah), Shauna (Kevin), Meghan (Rob), Brandy (Chris), Sean (Meghan), Kellie (Nick), Brian (Talia), Jenna (Phil) and Kayla. Cherished Great Grandmother (GiGi) to Kiera, Connor, Mara, Kaden, Logan, Kalli, Cierra, Drew, Ali, Bria, Eleanor, Lucy, Jaxson, Wade, Brendan, Clara, Thomas, Tristin, Mackenzie, Harper, Hunter, Hadley, Dylan, Jack, Caroline and Max. Pat, raised in Bronx, NY was a New Milford, NJ resident for almost 70 years. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph's Church. Pat served on many organizations: Treasurer of Friends of the New Milford Library, former President of New Milford's Senior Advisory Board, St. Joseph's Senior Club, member of the Board of Health to name a few. However, her top priority was always her family who will forever remember her warm heart, supportive and caring ways. She will also be missed by her numerous extended family members and friends.
In respect of Pat's final wishes, a Memorial Mass will be offered at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Oradell, NJ on Friday, June 4th at 1:00 PM, all asked to meet at church. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the New Milford Public Library, 200 Dahlia Avenue, New Milford, NJ 07646 or to your local food bank.

Pat Coogan and Bill were good friends of my family
Through St. Joseph’s our families were both active members of the church
After my father passed away Bill and Pat treated my sister and I like family

Lillian (Pat) was a dear friend, with whom I worked for many years. We would meet for lunch after she retired from AAA. Very special person. I am sure she will be greatly missed by all who had the good fortune to know her!
