Lisa Forte Obituary
Lisa M. Forte, (nee Scardigno) age 54 of Waldwick died Saturday, March 31, 2018. Born in Hoboken, she lived in Palisades Park before moving to Waldwick 25 years ago. Lisa was a Teacher's Aid for the Waldwick Board of Education for 15 years. She was a parishioner of St. Luke's RC Church, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Surviving is her beloved husband of 25 years, Vincent Forte, her two daughters, Samantha and Sabrina Forte both of Waldwick, her parents, Sam and Rose Scardigno of Palisades Park, her two sisters, Sandy Biango of Waldwick and Christina DeAngelis of Ramsey and her two brothers, Sergio Scardigno of Waldwick and Mark Scardigno of Palisades Park. Visiting Wednesday 4-8 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass Thursday 11 am at St. Luke's RC Church, 340 Franklin Tpk. Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Entombment will follow at Maryrest Cemetey, Mahwah, NJ. Memorial Contributions to St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142 would be appreciated.

I worked with Lisa for many years. She was an amazing person with a gigantic heart. She always put everyone else in front of herself and touched the lives of countless children over the years. Deepest condolences to her family and may she rest in the sweetest peace.
