Cliffside Park - Lorenzo Mattera on December 17, 2018 of Cliffside Park, N.J., age 86.
Lorenzo was born on March 11, 1932 in Serrara, Fontana, Island of Ischia, Italy and came to the United States in 1974. Before retiring he was a chef at Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, N.J.
Beloved husband to Louisa (nee) DiMeglio (1983). Devoted father to Ernesto and his wife Dianna, Raffaela Rizzo and her husband Salvatore, Patrizia Padilla and Massimo and his wife Kristin.
Loving brother to Maria Mattera, Luigi Mattera, Rosalba Di Orio, Giovanni Mattera and Cecilia Mattera. Cherished grandfather to 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral from the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home 495 Anderson Avenue Cliffside Park, N.J. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 8:30 am thence to Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church in Fairview, N.J. where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:30 am.
Entombment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum in Fort Lee, N.J. The family will receive their friends Wednesday 4-8pm.
