Louis Matonti Obituary
Matonti, Louis James, 59, of Ridgewood, passed away on November 28, 2017. Beloved son of Louis and Annette Matonti of Ridgewood. Dear father to BreAnne (Rich), Nicole Guerra (Raul), and Stephen (Brielle). Cherished brother of Michael Matonti and Mary Ann Lupo (Ron). Loving uncle of Nicholas, Melissa, Michael, Megan, Vincent, Anthony, Christine and Paul Millet. Beloved nephew of Kathleen Albano (Bubby), and dear cousin of John Albano (Lorraine), James Albano (Patrice), and Jeannine Rowell (David). Dear companion of Martine and her family. Louis will also be missed by many friends.
Louis enjoyed, coaching, ping-pong, softball, golfing, bowling, yoga, and watching his kids, nieces, and nephews play sports. He loved participating in bike marathons, and always being sure to walk his 10,000 steps. Louis also enjoyed working with Sergio, Eric, Al, and many friends at work. The Matonti family would like to thank all of the staff at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital SICU East for the care and kindness they showed Louie.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, 1 Passaic St., Ridgewood. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Louis's name to the N.J. Sharing Network (www.njsharingnetwork.org/contribute) would be greatly appreciated. Annette and Big Louie, Bill and I are so deeply saddened to hear about your indescribable lose. Louie meant a lot to me over the years. One of his best qualities was he never judged anyone for their mistakes in life. God bless you all and you are in my prayers. You are now members of a club, no parent should ever have to be a member.

My Sincere condolences to Louis' family. I knew Louis as a classmate from St. Mary's in Brooklyn 1964-1972. I also saw Louis several times in St. Mary's reunion. He was a good friend and a wonderful person.
