Martin Gasalberti Obituary
Martin R., 86, husband of Winifred "Penni" (Messer), on Thursday, December 18, 2014. Born in Lodi, Mr. Gasalberti lived in West Milford for 56 years. He had served in the US ARMY during the Korean War with the Army Engineers and he was a self-employed Building/Contractor. Along with his wife, he is survived by one son, Douglas (and wife, Diane) of West Milford. Visitation Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Richards Funeral Home, Inc., 4 Newark Pompton Tpk, Riverdale. Funeral Mass 10 AM, St. Joseph's Church, West Milford. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Penni, Dougie and Diane
I'm so sorry to hear about Marty.
Betty and I think of you guys often and the fond memories we have of the G's, Mrs. Messer and you. I particularly
remember all the fun times we had in High Crest Lake and down in Belmar playing marine on the beach with Dougie and Danny. Of course I'll never forget the infamous words our daughter Maureen said to Dougie walking the Boards in Belmar--"What dat?"
I remember Douglas cutting down the apple trees in our backyard in Bloomfield--He must have ached for a month.
Marty will be remembered in our thoughts and prayers.
