Mary Heavey Obituary

HEAVEY Mary Theresa, 85, of Jersey City passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Christ Hospital in Jersey City. Former Secretary for Georgetown University Alumni Office and retired clerk for B.E. Duortmann, New York. She was a former member of the Mothers Club of St. Peter's Prep, and long time communicant of both St. Joseph's and St. Peter's Church in Jersey City. She is survived by her brother, Reverend Edward J. Heavey, SJ, Rector of Saint Peter's College, Jersey City. She is predeceased by her parents the late Edward J. and Margaret (nee Breheny) and her siblings, the late Sr. Margaret Heavey, S.C., and the late Rev. James F. Heavey. All are requested to assemble for the funeral mass at St. Aedan's Church, Jersey City on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 11 AM. Interment follows at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Visitation: Thursday and Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers please make donations in her memory to St. Peter's College, Jersey City.
