Mary OSETEC Obituary

OSETEC
Mary (Mamie) 92, of Wood-Ridge passed away peacefully Sat. May 2, 2015 at Hackensack University Hospital. She was born and raised in Passaic, NJ. She and her husband the late Fred (1976) were married in 1946 and settled in Wood-Ridge since 1959. She was also predeceased by her brothers Alexander, Steve, Edward, Michael, and John Bednarz. Mary embodied the true meaning of a homemaker.
After raising her 4 children and caring for her mother-in-law in her home, she worked at Wood-Ridge National Bank for 15 years as a credit analyst, retiring in 1990.
Aside from time with her family she enjoyed going to the local area bingo's, crocheting, reading, playing cards, crossword puzzles, and watching sports or games shows on TV.
Mary is survived by her four children, Linda Kawiecki of Rockaway, Susan Tarnofsky and her husband Jerry of Womelsdorf PA, Marc Osetec of Wood-Ridge and Kevin Osetec and his wife Tracy of Roxbury. She had six loving grandchildren, Scott, Kerri, Brett, Samantha, John & Brian along with five adoring great grandchildren.
Funeral Wed. 8AM from Kohler Funeral Home 280 Hackensack St. Wood-Ridge.
Mass 8:30AM Assumption R.C. Ch. Wood-Ridge. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery South Hackensack. Vis. Tues. 3-5 and 7-9PM Donation toward kidney research would be appreciated.
