Mary K. Shea

West Milford - Mary K. Shea passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the age of 95. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a long time resident of Bergen County particularly in Ramsey. She was a devout catholic and a faithful member of St. Paul's Church in Ramsey as well as a member of their rosary society. She was employed in the Building Department of The Village of Ridgewood. She was a volunteer at Cornwall Hospital. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband of 70 years, Frank V. Shea, who passed away in May, 2019. She is also predeceased by her sisters Leona McLaughlin and Dorothy Stevenson. Mary is survived by her sons Kevin F. Shea, Michael G. Shea, his wife Carol; daughters Maryellen Fritz, her late husband Jack; Patricia S. Maisch and her husband Joseph; seven grandchildren: Shea, his wife Gwen, Micah, Jason, his wife Katrina, Megan, her husband Jefferson, Jacqueline, her husband Royce, Brian, his wife Jessica and Greg; three great grandchildren: Calum, Kynleigh and Grayson; and many loving nieces and nephews. Mary's family would like to thank Theresa Duaryenneh from the bottom of their hearts for her utmost care and compassion given to her over the past few months. Visitation will be held on Friday, February, 21, 2020 from 4:00 - 8:00 at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave., Ramsey. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
