my condolences to the franko family..
10 years ago i was hired at fedway associates..our general warehouse mgr on days was joe ingaro.joe said to me you will work with mike franko.frankco was the very first employee i worked with..joe asked us both if we could clear out a trailer of old scrap iron.frankco said to me we will be here all day-because there was alot of twisting scrap metal,it was too much to do one by one..franco,i said-i will be right back.he asked me where i was going..frankco i said-you will see!!!
i came back to help my first partner at work, with a high low & chain..we wrapped the chain around each plt one at a time, dragged the plt of metal to the edge of trailer, picked up high low & moved plt to dumpster..frankco thought we would be done around 3 ish that day...we started at 9 am & was done by noon..franco thanked me for all the help i gave him..this was how i met fedway driver-warehouseman & friend at work.. im going to miss him alot..i could spot franco from afar distance..his red, white & blue bandanna.every day, when he came in from his driving runs on the road,he would always say to me-you remember frank-helping me with scrap metal..yes franco.. and now i will always remember you.. may you now r.i.p.
