To the Garbarino Family ~
While I didn't personally know you, I am 'thankful' to Michael for his devoted service and dedication to our community. My daughter and I attended the funeral procession today, standing just outside the Sully Station precinct. I know this must be a difficult time that none of us can understand in the way that you can. Our hearts and prayers go out to all of you during this difficult time. May you know and believe in your hearts that your son, brother, husband and father is now with our Good Lord above, and in a place of serenity and peace. Thank you for giving him to 'us'. May you find strength in knowing we as a community will never forget him, or all of you who shared in this special life, and may God bless you.

My prayers go out to you in your time of sorrow. My uncle was a police officer in the Norfolk VA area and we always prayed that when an officer donned his uniform that he would return home safely
