Michael Protomastro Obituary
Mr. Protomastro lived in Hoboken before moving to Wood-Ridge. He was a research technician at General Foods Corp., mostly in the Maxwell House Coffee division, where he held two patents, including one for Master Blend coffee. Also, he was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption R.C. Church, Wood-Ridge. He was a former member of the Wood-Ridge Zoning Board. He was a former Little League coach in Wood-Ridge. And, he was a U.S. Army veteran.
Arrangements are by the Costa Memorial Home, Hasbrouck Heights. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Donations may be sent to Our Lady of the Assumption R.C. Church, 143 First St., Wood-Ridge, NJ 07075; or to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer St., Hackensack, NJ 07601.
Mr. Protomastro also is survived by his wife, the former Nancy Lambiase; his daughters, Mary Beth Protomastro of New York City, and Nancy Protomastro Mullen of Greentown, Pa.; his other son, David of Rutherford; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Isabelle and Dominick; his brother, Nicholas; and his sister, Jane.
