SCIALLA
Michael "Papa," of Wallington, NJ, died on Jan 6th, he was 62. Michael was born in Paterson, NJ on Apr 4, 1952 to Albert and Mary Scialla. He was raised in Paterson, and a graduate of Eastside High, Class of 1969. Most recently he was a self-employed plumber. Michael was married to Nelly on May 1, 1995 in New York. His hobbies included trips to Atlantic City and Christmas preparations. He is survived by his beloved wife Nelly, his five loving children Tabitha Schweidereick, Marissa Decker, Regina, Albert and Tamara Scialla; and his nine cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his dear sisters Madeline Olivieri and Bertha Scialla-Vazquez, predeceased by his sister Rosanne Scialla. Visiting Sun, 2-4 and 7-9 PM, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington. Graveside service, 1 PM, Mon, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa. No words can express well enough how this news has hit me. RIP Dear Friend and go with God. I am so sad but at the same time so glad that all of your suffering is over. I can't tell you how much I will miss our Nightcap Chats. We never got the chance to go for our Hot Pastrami sandwiches. Some day. You are one in a million, Papa Duke. Thank you for always being there for me throughout the years when others abandoned me. Thank you for all the times you turned my tears into laughter.I feel the void already. Love you, Old Cat. Much love to Nelly and your family and may God give them the strength they need to get through this most difficult time. You will be so very missed.

Michael was a good friend. Always eager to help others and share a laugh. I've known Mike since High School and he will be sorely missed. We've lost someone very special.
