Nicholas Riciputo Obituary

RICIPUTO Nicholas, age 87, of Wayne on Monday, January 28, 2008. Born and raised in Syracuse, NY, he graduated from The University of Syracuse as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and immediately went into active duty during WW II. Nicholas was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pompton Lakes, NJ. Member of the Wayne Elks and active resident of the Pines Lake community in Wayne. Nicholas is survived by his sister Maria Grace Karlik and her husband Paul of Syracuse, NY, two nieces; Arlene MacAllen and her husband Tom of Ringwood, NJ, and Judy Poultney and her husband Jim of Wayne, two grand-nephews; Ian and Garret MacAllen both of Jersey City, NJ, and one grand-niece; Michelle Poultney of Wayne. He was also predeceased by his brother Angelo and sister Josephine. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 8:30 AM from the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne then to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pompton Lakes, where at 9:30 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday, February 1, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. For a photo and more information visit www. vandermay.com.
