Family-Placed Death Notice
WELLS, Hayden HAYDEN COLEMAN WELLS Mrs. Hayden Coleman Wells, 91, of Roswell, died November 7, 2009. Born in Atlanta to Robert and Daisy Hayden Puckett, she was a long time member of the Roswell United Methodist Church where she served on the Alter Guild for 28 years and directed over 600 weddings. She was a retired dental hygienist and enjoyed growing flowers in her yard. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herbert W. Coleman, Sr. and Damon Wells. She is survived by her sons, Herbert W. Coleman Jr. and Mark Coleman of Woodstock; sister, Ruth Bosshardt of Sandy Springs and 4 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, at 1 p.m., with remains placed in state at 12:00 noon at the Roswell United Methodist Church. Dr. Malone Dodson, Rev. Bill Floyd, Rev. Mike Long and Rev. John Wolfe officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations in her memory to the Roswell United Methodist Church, 755 Mimosa Blvd., Roswell, GA 30075 for the Alter Guild and Music Fund. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory, 12050 Crabapple Rd., Roswell, 770-645-1414

Hayden was my mother-in-law for 22 years. I never introduced her as such, but just as my "mother". I always said I had two mothers. Hayden was always very sweet to me and we had a very special bond. We took many trips to the doctor together. We never looked at those trips as a burden, but more as two friends going out together. We always made it fun - no matter where we were going. Hayden and I shared many, many laughs. She taught me alot in those 22 years. She will truly be missed by all. I could have never asked for a better "mother".
