Obituary: Rezza Obituary

PARAMUS — Diana Gemma Rezza, 71, died on Nov. 22.

Born in Hackensack, she moved to Paramus 30 years ago. She was the first graduate of Ridgewood High School to win a scholarship to attend the School of Design and Fashion in Rome, Italy. She was on the staff of Mayor Lindsay of New York City and had been employed by Alfa Romeo headquarters and DeLonghi America. She was the founder and president of At Your Service Party Planning Inc., located in Paramus for 25 years.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley Swintek of Paramus; her brother, Vincent and sister-in-law Sharon Rezza; her sisters-in-law, Nancy Rezza and Ann Rezza; her brother-in-law, Frank Schettino; and over 40 nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as extended families and friends from around the world. She was predeceased by her parents, Rubina and Joseph Rezza; her sister, Anne Schettino; and her brothers, Al, Tom and Frank Rezza.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25 at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. in Wyckoff. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at the Church of the Annunciation, 50 West Midland Ave. in Paramus, with burial to follow at the Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
