Patrick Moccia Obituary

MOCCIAPatrick Dominick, passed peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, September 25, 2007 at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck. He was 89 years young. He was born in Cliffside Park and lived his entire life there. Patrick was a school custodian for the Board of Education in Cliffside for twenty-seven years retiring in 1982. He is an Army Veteran of World War II, having served with distinction in the European Theatre. He is a member of the Cliffside Park Men's Club and parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Church. He leaves his wife, Beatrice (nee Innocenti), two children; Carl and his wife Therese and Carmela and her husband John Brunelli, nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive. He is pre-deceased by seven sisters and brothers. Funeral from A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., Cliffiside Park on Friday, at 8 AM. The Funeral Mass will be offered in Our Lady of Grace Church at 9 AM. Entombment will follow at the Madonna Mausoleum in Fort Lee. Family will receive their friends on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

We were very saddened to hear of the death of Patrick Moccia. Our deepest sympathy to his widow, Beatrice, to Carl and his wife Therese and their children, and to Carmela and her family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very sad time. God bless you all.
