Paul Ferguson was one person I looked forward to knowing a long time. Their Portland Maine home was on our path Summers to Islesboro, Maine, our family retreat. I was shocked and greatly saddened to lose him as such a great friend from Lexington High School. Since it was had to get to him the last days of his life asked our Classmate Bill Murray who also lived in Portland to visit Paul for me and Bill visited him almost daily and I was overwhelmed by his response. Paul was too young to leave us at that age. As many of our classmates have now reached their 90's , I am continually saddened that Paul could not be one of us.

Dear Edchen and your family,
My deepest sympathy to all of you. Paul was such a remarkable human being. If he entered your life, you did not want to lose him and with great sorrow his Lexington High School classmates have to. To me, he was our official "Class President"! As high school juniors, we attended Boy's State at UMass, Amherst. I think we elected him as Senator! I would vote for Paul for President of the U.S. He was just that kind of honest, caring person that I believe he would always make the "right' decision. His brave fight for life shows the depth of his character. I will always miss Paul.

Dear Edchen & Family
How fortunate we were to have Paul and one of his dearest friends, Fred Davis, as Co-Captains of our 1953 Tufts New England Championship lacrosse team. "Freddie and Fergy" were the best. On behalf of all the lacrosse teammates that he "Captained", we share the sadness of Paul's passing.

Dear Linda, Dennis, Molly, Abby, and Michael,
Pat Lyford just called me to let me know about your dad/granddad. I was very sorry to hear about him. I called and left a message, but until now I didn't realize that the funeral was today. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you including your mom and family. He was a very active person which means that you will have many happy memories of him. Love, Tom and Libbie PS: We are in AZ for another week.

"Mom" Ferguson, Linda, Robin and Paul. I am saddened by the news of "Dad" Ferguson's passing. I am sorry for the struggles he, and all of you have endured through his illness. Aah, he is at peace. I have such wonderful memories from high school (with Robin) and all of you. Especially my visits to Long Island with you. That nervous first boat ride over in that little boat! "Dad" Ferguson got me through it. Please know that my heart aches for you and that you are ALL in my thoughts and prayers. I love ya! Carole Foster (Nastrom)
