Peter Salzano Obituary
Mr. Salzano was born in Paterson. He worked for Capitol Airlines and was a traffic manager in the trucking industry. Later, he worked for the Passaic County Department of Senior Services Telephone Reassurance Program for 19 years before retiring in 2012. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II as well.
Arrangements are by the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Lupus Foundation of America, New Jersey Chapter, 150 Morris Ave., Suite 102, Springfield, NJ 07081.
Mr. Salzano is survived by his children, Edie Salzano-Markiewicz, Andrew and Maria Salzano, Peter Salzano, and Doug Smith; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Florence; his parents, Andrew and Ida; his sister, Louise Pantano; and his brothers, Joseph and Alfred.

I'm so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I remember him so well, not only seeing him recently at all your events, but also from our high school years. Please find comfort knowing how rich and wonderful his life was and that he is now reunited with your mom.
