FLORIO Philip, age 79 of Manchester, on Monday, August 2, 2010. Born in Paterson, Philip had resided in Paterson and then Clifton before moving to Manchester fifteen years ago. A former warehouseman and parts distributor for Ford Motor Co. in Teterboro, he retired in 1988. Philip enjoyed visiting the racetrack and Atlantic City. He had a love for playing bocce ball, and was an avid Mets fan. Philip Florio was the beloved husband of the late Adeline (nee Chiriaco) Florio (1970). Loving father of Maryann Florio and her partner Joseph Fazio of Fair Lawn, and Kathleen Vander Teems and her husband Neil also of Fair Lawn. Dear grandfather of Melissa, Tara and Kyle all of Fair Lawn. Long time companion of Mary Ann Cavalli of Manchester. Funeral will be departing at 9 AM on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne for a 9:30 AM funeral mass at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne. Interment will follow at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. (www.browningforshay.com)
