Pietro Castelli Obituary
Castelli, Pietro G. age 83 of Fairfield at rest in Fairfield on November 1, 2017. Beloved husband of Anna (nee Faraci) Castelli of Fairfield. Loving father of Nicola Castelli of Fairfield and Salvatore Castelli and his wife Melanie of Fairfield. Brother of Concetta Castelli of Sicily, Italy, Giovanna Castelli of Wayne, and the late Salvatore and Paolo Castelli. Loving grandfather of Salvatore, Nico, and Siena Castelli. Born in Scoglitti, Sicily, Italy, he lived in Italy for 46 years before coming to the United States and settling in Paterson. He also lived in Little Falls before moving to Fairfield 26 years ago. He was a textile worker for Marijon Dyeing & Finishing, East Rutherford for many years before retiring in 1996.
Mr. Castelli was a founding member of the Scoglitti Society, Elmwood Park. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral mass to follow at St. James R.C.Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday from 4-8 PM.
