I just happened to wonder how all my cousins are doing since it's been years and years since I have seen anyone since Jean passed, and I am so very sad to see the passing of my cousin Richard...my deepest sympathies to the family...

So sad to hear of Rich's death. I met Rich on the 2008 CdC trip. Such a jovial and amicable man. He loved to walk that canyon. RIP Rich.

My condolances to your family. I met Rick in Canyon de Chelly during his third and my first visit to the beautiful and peaceful place. I enjoyed his spirit and laughter. Valerie Mavis

Frank and I were so saddened by the death of Rich. We met on our trip to Canyon de Chelly, AZ. He was a wonderful, knowledgeable hiker who assisted those of us who weren't. And he was a delight. So young, so soon. RIP Frank and Melissa Bellinger Riva, MD

I am very saddened by Rich's death. He came on my Sierra Club trip to Canyon de Chelly, Arizona, three times. He was always willing to help, especially on his third trip when I asked him to assist during difficult portions of the hikes. He always had a smiling face. I was so happy to seem him in 2009 on our last trek into the Canyon. Walk in Beauty, Rich.
