Uncle Bob- you will be so missed. I have wonderful memories growing up, having special holidays at Nanny & Pop-Pop’s house. You would bring Paul and I stickers from Wonder Bread that used to come in the bread bags. Paul and I would fight over who got to sit next to you at the holiday dinner’s. We laughed at your Julia Child impersonations and funny jokes. I can still remember the Little bird, with pointed bill, as you sit on my window sill, lure him near with crust of bread, then I hit his little head. You always made the holidays so much fun. You will be greatly missed and thought of often. Please say hi to Nanny & Pop-Pop in heaven for me, I still miss them terribly. Love, Lorie

NOREEN & TOM,
I WAS TRULY SADDENED BY THE NEWS OF BOB'S PASSING. THE OBIT WAS RIGHT ON IN DESCRIBING HIM AS A THOUGHTFUL & CARING PERSON. WE WROTE TO EACH OTHER MANY YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS PLANNING A HS REUNION. UNFORTUNATELY WE DID NOT CONTINUE. I DO RECALL FONDLY THE MANY HOURS WE SPENT PLAYING "STICKBALL" IN FRONT OF YOUR HOUSE ON 23RD STREET AROUND THE CORNER FROM MY HOUSE ON 17TH AVE. I NOW LIVE IN BARNEGAT AT THE JERSEY SHORE. WOULD YOU BELIEVE JACK SHEERIN LIVES JUST A FEW MILES SOUTH OF ME IN STAFFORD. I STILL SEE HIM ON OCCASION. I AM PROUD TO SAY THAT I FOLLOWED BOB TO ST. JOE'S HS & THEN LATER TO SETON HALL IN PATERSON. UNFORTUNATELY, SOMEHOW LIFE GOT IN THE WAY & WE WENT OUR SEPARATE WAYS AFTER WE GRADUATED IN 1968. I DO CHERISH THE FACT THAT I KNEW HIM FOR ALL THOSE YEARS GROWING UP IN PATERSON & CONSIDERED HIM A TRUE FRIEND. I HAVE LEFT MY INFO BELOW & AGAIN OFFER MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY FOR YOUR LOSS.
