We are so very sorry for the family's loss. Ron was such a great help to our family when we needed it the most with his knowledge and expertise in the law. May the Lord's presence be a comfort to you all during this heartbreaking time.

Ron, you were my Brother and Friend. You and Sue were always there for me no matter what time of day or night. You were an INSPIRATION to anyone who had the privilege to have met you or called you friend.
We started working out since we were 13 or 14 and you always knew how to push that one more rep out of us. You made us go further than we thought we could. You challenged me and anyone who knew you that they COULD DO BETTER! That there was no excuse for not exceeding our dreams and goals. This is not only what you said but backed up with your own actions. Your Character was the same in your youth as it was as a Man, Husband and Father. Your challenges for yourself and others to do better never changed through the years, just different circumstances. As a youth it was sports, as a man it was the every day monotony of life. There was no excuse to not do better at work, to not be the best Father you could be, to not go to church, to not be a true person of Christ. Even after all your last trials of fighting cancer, again, you fought every morning to go hit the gym at 5 am. When I asked you how you had the strength to even do that? You replied as usual "Gotta do it Conks, just gotta do it. I got to be in shape to beat this thing. Conks come meet me at 5 a.m. tomorrow morning and we will work out together. Umm no thanks Ron I gotta get my beauty rest". Now Ron I wish I went. You proved to me that even when we are sick with cancer or other problems in our lives that we can't quit, that there is no excuse, and we can all push ourselves further than we can ever imagine. That Strength, Courage, Fortitude, Bravery, Faith, Love, Compassion, Loyalty, Forgiveness, Understanding, Family, Greatness and Respect all comes from two characteristics: Anything is possible through Christ and only one person can do it and that is you and only you through Christ! And that makes the man a man with Character and you were filled with CHARACTER. Your Character was shown by your actions. A person to Admire, Look Up To, and Inspire us to all do our best. A true role model for us all.
My Father told me once a true Hero is a person, man or woman, who gets up every day with their aches, pains and problems, day after day after monotonous day without complaint and go to work or do whatever they have to do to take care of their Families. Under my Father's definition you made him, your Parents, Brothers and their families, Sue, Eddie, Ronnie jr., Jill, your friends and most importantly You and God very very PROUD!
Ron it's not how many years you live on this earth but How You Live Your Years that counts. You lived 200 years at least in 54 good, hard fought, impressive years.
I am PROUD of YOU!
I know you are with the Lord. Rest well my Friend, you EARNED it.
I will try to live the remainder of my life as you would want me to, so I can be with you in Heaven.
Good Night Bavs I love you kid.

As long time friend of the entire Bavagnoli Family, I am saddened to hear of Ron's passing. I know he battled on and off most of his life with illness and there were signs of hope. He finally returned home to be with his wonderful Dad, Mr. Bavs, and my Mom, who loved Ronald, his Mom Jean and all the Bavagnoli boys dearly. Rest in Peace! Prayers for the family. I'm very sad and shocked by the news of Ron's passing. He was very young. Ron was a very kind and thoughtful person who (when he was younger) could hit a baseball anywhere around the plate. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this tough time. I'm very sorry to hear of this tragic news.

I was lucky to meet Ron early in life as freshman baseball players at Seton Hall. We became fast friends and remained that way through law school even though we did not see each other often. We reconnected last year as we had a case together and enjoyed sharing memories. He was a wonderful guy who I will miss. God Bless you all.
