Ronald Diana Obituary

DIANA - Ronald Harold passed away peacefully on July 1, 2005. Ron was born in Paterson, NJ, grew up in Ramsey, NJ where he graduated from high school and then went on to earn a Psychology degree in 1973 at Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire. After college, Ron became interested in alternative healing therapies, devoted his life to the study of Taoist healing practices and subsequently became the esteemed director of The Healing Tao Center of New Jersey. Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Diana, cherished daughter Kate Mariel Diana, much beloved "Mommy" Olga Diana, loving friend and brother Michael Diana, loved little sister "Tata" Caryl Diana. Ron is also survived by his sisters-in-laws, Connie, Donna, Faith and Jane Carlson, brothers-in-laws, Bob and Rich Carlson, Nick Atanasio, James O'Rourke, nieces, Devon, Kyle, Nicole and Robin, nephews, Drew, Jay and Ryan, and friend Karin Sorvik. Ron is predeceased by his loved and remembered father, Harold Eakins and his adored grandparents, "Grampy" Victor and "Nana" Ann Ledecky. Ron lived courageously and carved his own path that will serve as a reminder to us all to live life boldly. In lieu of flowers, plant a seed. Memorial contribution donations can also be made in Ron's name to the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization at htt://www.asbestosdiseaseawareness.org/. Ron will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts. A Memorial Service will be announced whereby all will be welcome to celebrate and honor his life. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave., Ramsey.
