Rose Malizia Obituary

MALIZIA Rose (nee Zacchino), 71 years old, died peacefully at her daughter's residence in Franklin, NJ on Saturday, March 5, 2011. Born to Michael and Carmelina Zacchino in Bronx, NY, she had lived in North Arlington, NJ for many years. Mrs. Malizia worked as a receptionist for DCI Computer Service Corp. in Teterboro, NJ for over 10 years before retiring in 2009. She was a doting mother and grandmother and was loved for being a great listener. Mrs. Malizia was predeceased by her husband, Michael Malizia and was the devoted mother of Daniel Castellano and his wife, Stacey of Bethpage, NY, Jeanine Paszkiel and her husband, John of Franklin, NJ. Loving grandmother of Samantha, Maria and Peter. The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 9:15 AM. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Franklin, NJ at 10 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. Memorial gifts to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, 99 Sparta Avenue, Newton, NJ 07860 would be appreciated.

My deepest sympathy to all the family & friends who knew Rose. She was a part of our family who always told the best stories & made you laugh. I'll never forget the day she taught me how to make her famous eggplant parmesan. You are in my thoughts & prayers.
