Silvio D'Ercole Obituary
Silvio, 88, of Waldwick, died peacefully in his home on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Born and raised in Waldwick, Silvio continued to live there for his entire life. He was a self-employed Mason and avid fisherman, and began working for Ramsey outdoor store 40 years ago. Silvio is survived by his four children: Louis and Diane D'Ercole of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Carol-Lynn and Richard Wohlleb of Ramsey, NJ, Tom and Marybeth D'Ercole of Tuxedo, NY, Lori Saucier of Suffern, NY and; his ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, with one more on the way. Silvio was predeceased by his wife Claire. Visiting hours are Friday 2-4 and 7-8:30 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 8:30 PM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Valley Hospice, 223 North Van Dien Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ 07450.
