Stephen KONISH Obituary
Stephen John Sr., 70, of Mahwah, N.J., passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014.
He was a retired accountant and former owner of The Wise Man Bookstore in Wayne, N.J.
Steve was born in Perth Amboy, N.J. to John and Edna Konish.
He was the beloved father of Susan Konish Episcopo, Stephen Konish Jr., Nancy Konish Friedrich and Lorie Konish. He was also the beloved grandfather to nine grandchildren: Ashley, Cole, Sophia, Jessica, Stephen, Jaclyn, Rosalind, Cary and Gabe. He leaves behind a sister, Catherine Riker, of Beach Haven, NJ.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey (201-327-0030). Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Paul RC Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave, Ramsey. (Everyone please meet at church)
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Jersey Botanical Garden in Ringwood.

There was no one else like him and he will be missed by so many in the metaphysical community. I am so grateful to have met and worked for Steve and to be included in the wonderful experience that was "the Wiseman". ~ Luann Gibbons
