Stephen Podmokly Obituary
Stephen, 88, of Clifton, passed away on September 30, 2011. Born in Poland, Mr. Podmokly came to the United States in 1939 and has lived in Clifton since 1959. He retired as a tool and die maker from Electroscan Co. in Garfield. Previous employment was with Interstate Tool in Fairfield and Homer Tool Co. of Newark. He was member of the First Reformed Church in Little Falls.
Mr. Podmokly was predeceased by two sisters, Lottie Pilski and Adele Gnadek.
Survivors include his wife, Helen (nee Richter) of Clifton, his son, Richard S. Podmokly and his wife, Denise of West Milford, three grandchildren, Stephen, Michael and Jessica Podmokly, and one brother, Gustave Podd of Toms River.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, 10:45 AM from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton and 11:30 AM at First Reformed Church, 61 Main St., Little Falls. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Visiting will be Monday from 4 - 8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 or CenterPointe II, Suite 103, 1160 Route 22 East, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
