Steve Radler Obituary
Steve Radler 77 formerly of Clifton passed away on Wednesday July 4, 2018. Born in Pilisszentivan Hungary, he immigrated to the United States in 1957 settling in Clifton for 57 years before moving to Branchville in 2014. Steve established North Jersey Forklift Inc. in Paterson in 1977 and ran the company for nearly 30 years prior to his retirement in 2006. In his leisure time, Steve enjoyed tending to his classic cars, especially his 1988 Ford Mustang. He loved flying ultralight aircrafts and gardening. Steve was also a watch connoisseur and coin collector. He is predeceased by his wife of 53 years, the former Elizabeth Van Houten. Steve is survived by two daughters, Lisa of Toms River and Kristine Hagy and husband Scott of Bluff City TN; by two sons, Stephen and wife Catherine of Flanders, and David and wife Katie of Augusta; by 10 grandchildren, Cara Denton and husband Josh, Ryan P. Fitzgerald, Andrew Hagy, Christopher Radler, Bethany Hagy, Michael-Anthony Lambiase, Daniel, Joshua, Sarah and Eric Radler; and by a great granddaughter Addie Denton; and by his brother Teddy Komuves and wife Deanna of Middlesex. Funeral services are 10AM Saturday at Allwood Funeral Home, 660 Allwood Rd., Clifton NJ 07012 followed by burial at Frankford Plains Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
