Steven 91 Obituary
Born in New York City, Mr. Milash lived in Glen Ridge and Whiting before moving to West Milford. He was a maintenance man for the Maplewood public school system before retiring. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a recipient of the Purple Heart and a member of the American Legion of Newark. He was a charter member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Lt. Stephen R. Gregg Memorial Chapter 33, New Jersey.
Services were Saturday at the Introcaso Angelo Funeral Home, Jersey City, followed by interment at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
Mr. Milash is survived by his brother, Andrew Harmatiuk; his nephew, Jim Crosson; and his nieces, Vicky Cataldo, Karen Gumaer, and Halina Okla.
He was predeceased by his sister, Helen Crosson.
