Sylvia Betesh Obituary
Sylvia K. (nee McMinn) of Dumont died on May 25, 2013. She was a Social Worker for the Bergen County Div. of Family Guidance in Hackensack. A parishioner of St. Anthony's Orthodox Church, she was a member and the Recording Secretary for the Women's Guild. Beloved mother of William and his wife Fanny. Cherished grandmother of Dina K. Dear sister of Margaret Klarer and her husband James and Michael McMinn and his wife Angeliki. Loving aunt of Kristina and Melissa Klarer and John McMinn. Visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Thursday at 9 AM for the Funeral Service at St. Anthony's Orthodox Church in Bergenfield at 10 AM.
Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Send a lasting condolence at riewertsmemorialhome.com

I consider myself extremely lucky to have been included in Sylvia's circle of friends. Sylvia was a unique person: intelligent, thoughtful, loving, giving, outgoing, fun to be with, always interested in others, and the list goes on. Sylvia was the ultimate daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She made my life brighter and I will think of her fondly and often for the rest of my life.

My sincere condolences to Sylvia's family. As a co-worker, she was a lovely person to be around. She was a very sweet and pleasant woman and I know she'll be missed by her associates and clients alike. May Sylvia rest in peace and my her friends and family find comfort in knowing she was well loved.
