Sylvia Krulewitz Obituary
Sylvia Krulewitz, age 97,of Elmwood Park, N.J. passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on August 25, 2017. Born in Bronx, NY, on May 7, 1920, Sylvia is predeceased by her loving husband Abe, brother Sam, and sisters Selma and Phyllis. Sylvia is survived by her son David Krulewitz and daughter-in law Kathy, son Lloyd Krulewitz and partner Billie Jo Stern, daughter Amy Krulewitz, granddaughter Andrea Henderson and her husband John, grandson Stephen Krulewitz and his partner Ann Griffin, grandson Adam Krulewitz and his wife Deena, granddaughter Emily Krulewitz, granddaughter Aury Passarella, and brother in law Herb Swersky. Sylvia also is survived by her loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
A legal secretary for over 20 years, Sylvia is a past member of Elmwood Park Jewish Center, a Life and 3 Generation member of Paramus-Bat Sheva Hadassah and member of Temple Beth Sholom Fair Lawn.
Sylvia met her true love Abe at the Roseland Dance Hall. Their spirited and skillful dancing turned all eyes towards them when they approached the dance floor. This relationship culminated in a marriage that spanned 66 years.
Donations may be sent in her memory to Paramus-Bat Sheva Hadassah. Services will be 10:00A.M., Monday, August 28,2107 at Louis Suburban Chapel 13-01 Broadway (Route 4 West) Fair Lawn, N.J. Burial will follow at Beth El Cemetery 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, N.J.
