Veronica Zalewski Obituary

ZALEWSKI
Veronica J., born February 4, 1921 passed away on July 23rd after a brief illness.
After the passing of Frank, her husband of 65 years, Veronica lived the last four years with her son Ray and his wife Ellen in Kingwood, Texas.
In Texas she enjoyed the love and attention of her grandson Joel, his wife Laurie, great-grandson Michael and great-granddaughter Adley.
She enjoyed immensely, following their busy lives involving academics, music, dance, baseball, gymnastics and taekwondo.
She was also proud of and thoroughly enjoyed keeping up with the careers of her granddaughters Kia (NYC) and Catherine (Wilmington, DE). Son James visited regularly from his home in south Jersey and along with Jim's wife Diane, and soon to be college freshman, great-granddaughter Julia communicated regularly via electronic media.
Veronica was part of a large Polish family of ten brothers and sisters and innumerable nieces and nephews. Holidays and special occasions were celebrated with large and joyous family gatherings.
Veronica is survived by sisters Helen Wojdyla, Mary Bielen and Genevieve "Dolly" Pasek. Though far apart they talked frequently and were always in her thoughts. Veronica is preceded in death by her parents Jan and Catherine Glowacki, brothers Carl, Mickey, Walt and Fred, sisters Stasia and Wanda and grandson Gregory. Veronica will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to a large group of family and friends.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated, 10 AM, Friday August 23rd at Sacred Heart Church, Wallington, NJ.
