AMBROSINI
Vincent J. "Jim," 84, of Middleboro, MA formerly of Oradell, NJ, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro, MA with his loving family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of the late Marilyn P. (McCaffrey) Ambrosini.
Born in the Bronx, NY on September 8, 1929, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Edith (Galotta) Ambrosini. He was the loving father of Christopher J. Ambrosini of Middleboro, MA and Pamela J. Ambrosini and Michael Cote of Bellingham, MA.
He leaves his cherished grandchildren Emma Marie and Christopher C. Ambrosini. He was the brother of Patricia Caputo of Commack, Long Island, NY and the late Frank "Bud" Ambrosini.
Mr. Ambrosini served as a Human Resources Executive at the New York Daily News, McKesson Corporation, and McKinsey and Co. during his career. He was also a Professor at the Graduate School of Business at Fordham University. For many years he and his wife "Pat" served as Eucharistic Ministers at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Haworth, NJ.
He was a United States Air Force Veteran and was accepted into the Aviation Cadet Training program.
"Jim" loved, breathed and played baseball, was an avid golfer and sports fan. Devoted to his family and his faith, he will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th at 12 noon at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Haworth, NJ. Visiting hours Saturday from 9:30-11:30 AM in the Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont, NJ prior to Mass. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be on Monday, July 21st in the family lot at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Vincent J. Ambrosini to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 72 East Concord Street, 3C, Boston, MA 02118 would be appreciated.
