Vincent Calviello Obituary
CALVIELLO
Vincent P., 83, of Rutherford, died Thursday, January 19, 2017. He was born on St. Patrick's Day to Vincent and Grace (nee Santoro) Calviello in Brooklyn, NY.
Vincent was a United States Army Veteran. He and his wife Judith were married for 55 years and raised their three children in Rutherford, where Vincent and Judy remained.
He was a Computer Programmer, formerly employed by Price Waterhouse, Metromedia and Philip Brothers, before retiring 20 years ago. He was an avid NY Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers fan, an active member of the Church of Saint Mary in Rutherford and one of the founders of Star Fish. Vincent was a very patient man and dearly loved by his family and those who were fortunate to know him.
Vincent will be deeply missed by his devoted and loving wife Judith (nee Merikle), his children; Deborah Calviello and spouse Elaine Rosenfeld, Susan Farina and spouse Terri Farina, David Calviello and spouse Amanda, his six grandchildren; Vincent, Nicholas, Melina, Jake, Aidan, Connor, three great-grandchildren; Julian, Vienna, Daniel, and his sister, Sr.Theresa Calviello, SFP.
Family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-7 PM in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford.
Funeral on Monday for 9:30 Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary, 91 Home Ave., Rutherford.
Private cremation
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary High School, 64 Chestnut St., Rutherford, NJ 07070 would be greatly appreciated.
