MARINO Vincent "Jim" 94, of North Haledon, passed away on August 13, 2011 at St Claire's Hospital. Born in Fraine, Italy and formerly of Paterson, he has lived in North Haledon for over 6o years. Before retiring in 1971 he was an electronic trouble shooter on flight simulators for Curtiss Wright Electronic Systems in Paterson. Previously he worked for Western Electric on the development of the first radar system. He also had a part time photography business and repaired TVs and radios. He was also a parishioner at St Paul's RC Church in Haledon. Loving husband of the late Molly Marino (2010). Devoted father of James and his wife Phyllis and the late JoAnne Zivkovitch. Loving grandfather of Jessica Zivkovitch and Paul and Anthony Marino. Adoring great-grandfather of five. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters Jim devoted his life to his wife and family. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:30AM at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Avenue, Prospect Park. Interment will follow in Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes. Calling hours will he held on Monday from 6-9 PM in the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes.
