William Doherty Obituary
DOHERTY
William J., age 40, of Garfield formerly of Lodi on Friday February 17, 2012. He proudly served his Country as a United States Marine. He was a machinist working for Globe Dye and Cutting Metuchen NJ and was a part time employee for Pathmark supermarket of Edgewater NJ. Beloved son of Irene (nee Hangley) and the late James Doherty. Devoted father of Kelly and Erin. His cherished and adored Fiancee Dawn Posey. Dearest brother of Doreen Parente and brother-in-law James Parente, Sharon and her husband Fred Dyer, Kathleen and her husband Ray Michaluk, Maureen and her husband Glenn Bond, Michael and his wife Robin Doherty and he is survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive their friends on Sunday 5-8 PM and Monday 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library." The funeral will leave Tuesday at 9:15 AM for the celebration of his funeral mass in St Anne's R.C.C. Fair Lawn NJ at 10 AM. The news of your passing is heart wrenching. I can't stop thinking of the memories we had on Shaler Avenue with you and the whole family.
