William Haenn Obituary

HAENN
William Michael, 80, of Paramus, formerly of Fort Lee, passed away Tuesday, January 31st. Beloved husband of Joan (nee: Valentino). Loving father of Doug Haenn and his partner Kathy Abdinoor and Bill Haenn and his wife Mary Kay. Cherished grandfather of Mariel, Kaitlin, Chelsea, Hilary, Megan, Michael, Casey and Kathryn Haenn. William served in the US Navy as a Seaman First Class Petty Officer on the USS Oriskanay during the Korean War. He owned and operated William M. Haenn Inc. Plumbing Contractors for 45 years and was a member of the Plumber's Local #84. William was a parishioner of Annunciation RC Church in Paramus. An avid boater, he loved the water and will be remembered by his family and friends for his generosity and his spirit. Visiting hours will be Friday, February 3rd, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave, Ridgewood, NJ. Funeral Service 11:00am at the funeral home, followed by entombment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's memory to the Valley Hospital Foundation, 223 N. Van Dien Ave., Ridgewood, NJ 07450. www.feeneyfuneralhome.com
