William Ulm Obituary
William J., 83, of Dumont (formerly of Carlstadt), passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood. Beloved husband of 52 years to Anna (nee Mastrota). Devoted father of Carenda Tucker and Linda Ulm. Dear brother of Beverly Sinou. William was a devoted father and husband who gave exceptional care to his entire family, especially to his disabled daughter, Tara, who predeceased him in 2002. Predeceased by his siblings; Freddy, Robert, Caroline and Florence.
William was born in Hackensack, NJ to Columbia and Fred Ulm. He was a proud Navy veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict, on the destroyer USS Snowden (DE-246). He was a postal worker with the Westwood, NJ Post Office for many years.
All funeral services are private and entrusted to the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont.

We were very saddened to read about the passing of our friend and coworker Bill. From his time of just taking a break and hanging out with his fellow carriers while he was still with the postal service at the store till his time of being a loyal employee and friend. He became a part of our family while working part time at the store and will always be. We know he is hanging out with Dad, Fannie, Sal, and Marge sitting around the counter sharing a cup of coffee and telling stories. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bill's entire family at this time of sorrow.
