Dennis Dean Moore, 74, of Hamler, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Northcrest Rehab and Nursing Center.
He was born in Napoleon, Ohio, on Oct. 2, 1951, to the late Elvin and Florence (Punches) Moore.
Dennis was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Hamler. He enjoyed traveling, especially spending time in Florida.
Dennis brought joy to those around him with his humor, stories, and easy going spirit. He was a social butterfly that everyone loved. His greatest pride and joy were his children and grandchildren.
Dennis is survived by his children, Jessica (Greg Mateyka) Moore, Nicholas (Kierstein) Moore, and Kyle (Olivia) Moore; grandchildren, Eleanor and Caleb Moore; partner, Jane Brent; siblings, Leona Hattery and Myra (Glen) Spangler; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annetta (Rosebrook) Moore; siblings, Clair (Marylene) Friedhoff, Georgia Jones and Elvin Moore Jr.; and brother-in-law, Jim Hattery.
A celebration of life will be held at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Hamler, on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 11 a.m.
